What We Do and Why

THE MISSION

Bruin Entrepreneurs is UCLA’s premier entrepreneurship organization. Since 2013, our mission has been to empower students of all majors and experience levels to turn ideas into ventures. We provide programs, mentorship, and access to the Los Angeles startup community through workshops, guest speakers, networking events, and an accelerator. Our goal is to create a collaborative environment where builders, designers, and business minds can launch impactful startups and strengthen UCLA’s role in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

WHO WE ARE

We are a student-led community of founders, builders, and innovators. Some members are running startups, while others are exploring their first ideas. Through our accelerator, Startup Fair LA, and founder–investor dinners, we give students the support and network they need to test ideas, connect with the right people, and grow.

THE ADVANTAGE

We connect students directly with founders, investors, and accelerators in Los Angeles. We run Startup Fair LA, UCLA’s largest student-run startup career fair, and host founder–investor dinners that create real opportunities to build relationships. Our no-equity accelerator gives members mentorship and resources to launch ventures. We are building the startup community at UCLA.

Startup Labs

UCLA’s first zero-equity startup accelerator

Curriculum

Our curriculum, resources, and workshops give founders the skills and knowledge to move their ideas forward. Each session is designed to meet founders where they are and help them make tangible progress on their ventures.

Mentorship

Each team is paired with an associate who provide one-on-one guidance and support throughout the program.

Demo Day

The program ends with a Demo Day where founders pitch to a panel of investors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. This is a chance to gain visibility, build partnerships, and connect with top accelerators.

Community

Members get access to the Bruin Entrepreneurs network, including guides, professional connections, workshops, and a supportive community of peers who are also building startups.
